The dotcom division of J&R Music and Computer World needed to revamp their broadcast commercial advertising. We took a two-pronged attack, using simple and effective animation to sell the J&R brand.
The 2009 summer campaign used out-of-date appliances concerned about being replaced with hip new gadgets. The fall and winter campaign used typography and fast camera movements to guide the viewer through the commercial.
Both campaigns proved highly successful, increasing awareness and sales both online and in the retail store.
So successful, that the campaign has been extended through 2010.
